A Year of Leo

Leo was born January 4th, 2018. He was supposed to arrive on December 26th, but he waited until we had gone back to New Hampshire to make his appearance. Then his mom developed pre eclampsia and the docs decided that waiting any longer was a very bad idea. He was a csect, and Sarah was very sick for a day as they tried to bring her blood pressure down, but Leo was great, and beautiful.

Grampa and Leo

We met him when he was 3 weeks old. It was pretty much love at first sight. We had to leave after only a few days and make our way to Florida for February and March. I couldn't be away from him that long so I came back for a visit in the middle of March. He had already changed so much!

I Put Leo to Sleep Accidentally Here!

Then it was time to go back to New Hampshire, pack up our house, and move to Minnesota! Then we started seeing lots and lots of Leo.

January - Happy Birthday!

By now Leo is doing a regular crawl, and he's started pulling up too. Cruising and actual walking are probably not very far away. He can say a few things, bye-bye, hi, dada. He knows some baby sign language such as "more" and "all done". He loves to "dance" and he's taken up singing too. His dad is teaching him to throw, and he's already better than his grandma! My favorite thing? The last time we picked him up at daycare, he clapped his hands and cheered! Oh Leo!

  1. He's beautiful. There's nothing like being a grandparent and it's a joy to get to see our grands often.
